Marcus Boykin Wins 2016 Outstanding Start-Up Business Award

Marcus Boykin of B-G Innovative Safety Systems, LLC, was awarded the 2016 Outstanding Start-Up Business Award today at a ceremony at City Hall. The award was presented by Jackson State Community College and The Small Business Association.
    
    Representatives from both entities, the Henderson County Chamber of Commerce and members of the community joined together in congratulating Boykin and his partner at the company on the invention of their product - a new energy efficient, auto/truck headlight system that backs up failed headlights. The safety focused technology aims to assist drivers in the event of a burnt-out headlight, before it is able to be replaced.
